This week at work, I have worked with Luke in ID bureau so I can learn what the process is if someone needs to cover the position. I also started doing one of the Open University courses of digital communication which has been quite similar to my A-level electronics course. Recently, I have been setting up surface go's, surface pro's and surface books so they can be sent out to clients are ready to use straight out of the box. As well as setting up, I was tasked with testing some surface pro's and scanners which were sent back to us to try to locate the problem.

This week at escalla, I gained some more in depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript by completing the HTML5 Microsoft Technology Associate course. At the end of the week I passed the exam which made me pleased that I was able to retain the things we learnt in lessons and apply them to a test. I believe that the things I learnt will be very beneficial to me as I have already come across a scenario in work where I had to apply some in line CSS styling to a piece of software.

This week I finished my version of skyvisitor which is going to be showed to a client today. I believe this was useful for me to build to get an almost full understanding of how the skyvis operates. I also did a lot of testing this week which was helpful to see the process software and hardware must go through before being sent to a client to ensure it works as expected. For around 30 mins a day, I would look at the HTML5 student book in order to get a head start with the next MTA.

This week in work I have been logging support tickets onto our crm for the support team to be able to resolve issues. Doing this developed my understanding of the crm and what we use it for. I had also been tasked with creating an example version of our software which will be used to show a company what the capabilities of our software entails. This has given me an opportunity to show to myself what knowledge I have picked up in the first few weeks.
